Note: as of January 2009, due to the weak pound, the prices of equipment from overseas have increased dramatically. Check Camera Price Buster before buying anything from Digital Rev or similar. For example, the Canon 450D is currently (19/01/2009) £489 from Digital Rev but only £450 from Comet in the UK!
Bristol Cameras - Very friendly and knowledgable Bristol based camera shop with all the latest dSLRs. Competitive prices too.
London Camera Exchange - Two branches in Bristol, also friendly and helpful.
Jessops
Digital Rev - Very cheap company. Works by importing products from China and selling them here handling all taxes for you. Does limit your warranty options though but if price is the number one factor they are worth considering.
Camera Price Buster - Excellent site for comparing UK camera prices.
