Sixth Competition

Posted on February 4, 2016, 9:13 am by Alex Vossos.
Hello everyone,
The sixth competition round will be a little bit different to previous rounds. The theme for this competition is: “Your best recent photos”. The limit for submissions is 5 photos per person, so send in your best 5 photos of 2015 or newer. There will be no winner and no physical prize this time; instead, the judges will select the most notable pictures to be included in photosoc’s very own photobook.

Hello everyone!

It was lovely to see so many new faces at last week's tea social, hopefully we'll have an equally great turnout this week (BTP said we might get some free cake!). We were lucky to have the winter sun out during Saturday's photowalk as well, hope all those who attended managed to get some nice shots.

There has been a change in talks this week please read on for details.

Also if you haven't already signed up for the NUPS London Photohunt (full details below), what are you waiting for??! Having attended myself in the past, I can only highly recommend it! It is great fun hunting down all the clues around London all whilst getting to know fellow photographers from Photosocs around the UK.

I would also like to apologise for the change in dates of the Studio Photography Seminar and Workshop. Due to a problem securing a venue, we are postponing it until we can obtain a suitable room.

As usual, membership cards will be available for collection during the tea socials and before the talks. Hope to see you all soon!
