AGM Results!

Hello lovely PhotoSoc people!

A while ago we had the PhotoSoc AGM and elected a fine new committee to
lead PhotoSoc forward for the next academic year. Many turned up to vote
at the AGM and some fine debates on the future of the society were had.

Tea Social @ Boston Tea Party - 5pm Today

Come join us at our regular tea social for a well earned revision break! They're a great way to relax on your Wednesday afternoons when you don't have any lectures. Come for a cup of tea, coffee, cake, or if you fancy food is available as well if you want dinner!

Tea Social 5pm Today!

We'll be at Boston Tea Party on Park Street as usual from 5pm, so come join us for a well earned (hopefully) revision break!

AGM & Social TONIGHT (with free food and drink!)

Hello everyone,
So it's that time of year again where we decide who will take the Photosoc reins next year!

We have booked the Anson Rooms bar for Wednesday 22nd April at 7.30pm- so once we have finished the AGM we'll be staying as we have the bar open all night! We'll be there setting up from 7pm.

WE WILL HAVE FREE PIZZA AT THE START AND LIMITED FREE DRINKS FROM THE BAR!

Any member can run for any position so don't be shy, nor do you have to be an expert in photography! We also need to make up quorum, so if you've enjoyed being involved this year, come along and vote to help us achieve the same for next year (and also make the minimum spend on the bar!).

The positions available are as follows:

- President
- VP/Secretary
- Treasurer
- Equipment Officer
- Talks Officer
- Socials Secretary
- Sponsorship Officer
- Darkrooms Officer
- Events Team Manager
- Competitions Officer
- Studio Manager
- Trips Officer
- Webmaster.

Do get involved as it's such fun to be part of the running of the society, and doesn't take up too much time. Remember, you don't have to be an expert in photography to be on the committee. You make great new friends, help shape the society and learn so much ( also looks awesome on the CV!). So what you waiting for? We already know you'll be great!
